Can Shawn PLEASE Talk About Sizing???

I know I can look myself, but when things are selling out quickly (CCB show), it would help.

I was interested in the sweater she showed, but wasn't planning on it and was trying to figure out sizing when it sold out.

And some people can't check their computers because maybe they don't own one. I have a cousin who doesn't have one and always has to call to order something or find information. Not everyone has social media stuff. Not everyone is tech savvy or interested in it.

She says, " get whatever size you can." I guess it doesn't matter if it fits. She can't discuss it further because she hasn't bothered to learn anything about it.

She was too busy bragging about how she already ordered three for herself because she knew it would sell out. Well, good for you, Shawn, with your prior knowledge of the products to air and your 40% employee discount. Unfortunately, that does not help the customers who are viewing the presentation.

Shawn is also too busy running to her phone and ordering...which I think is rude and they should not be allowed to shop while they are presenting but this is the new normal now, other host are doing it as well so I am not just picking on Shawn.

This just reminded me that the hosts were never allowed to order before the item aired, or not allowed to order while on the show. Now they do. BUT, I was watching HSN yesterday and the host said if she was caught ordering while on air she would immediately be fired. (interesting)

Old sales tactic. The only difference is they used to tell the producer to order for them. How insulting that they think we fall for that.

I don't know how many times I've heard hosts say they weren't allowed to order until the customers had first dibs. This new tactic is totally disrespectful of those, us, who pay the bills. They're being downright rude then bragging about it. Can they get anymore crass?

It's the way they present clothing now. You are supposed to take 3 minutes and go to the website and look up your own size. You should already have your measurements written down. You know how you like your clothes to fit. It does not take more than a few minutes to find your size. The days when they spent expensive air time reading off numbers ended years ago. Air time is devoted to showing as many items as they can. Take some time and practice using the size charts so the next time you shop sizing will be easy.

And @Kachina624 - when I was new to QVC I believed them! Tonight I laughed when Shawn ran off camera to get her phone. Sure.

However, when Carolyn says she owns 3 colors in the D&C fleece jacket, I believe her!

No, that's not the point. Like a previous poster said, not everyone has computer knowledge. It's just not sizing, it's everything they do. Spending 20 minutes on colors instead of more time on the garment itself is not okay. Personally, I'm disgusted with people just stating their options and you and others who's answer is change the channel, don't watch, go to your computer. They need to stop thinking they're our entertainment, they are JUST salespeople. So start selling!!!!

Makes me shake my head. If true (questionable) what business, if it's actually concerned about its bottom line, has a representative tout about making purchases at a substantial discount before customer are afforded the ability to pay full price?

I get a kick out of Carolyn. I think she does have all she says she has. She loves to wear what she is presenting. She never runs to her phone and orders right then and there.

I'm not convinced by most of them or their stories. I work to bring home the money not a blank paycheck. Why buy when you can show up at work and wear what is available for the night. I would like to take a peak in their closets and see what they do have.

Good grief! She's too into herself, her own shopping habits, and into yakking with the vendors about personal stories. It look like Candace Cameron Bure was taken aback when Shawn stopped in the middle of the presentation, got her cell phone, and ordered the one time only sweater.

I saw that Shawn was grilling Candace about her personal life. It looked to me Candace was a little uncomfortable.
