Why have a suggestion box if no one from QVC looks at the suggestions?

Why have a suggestion box if no one from QVC looks at the suggestions? More than once, I have seen that QVC does not look at the suggestions posted here. The persons that say this have been Forum members, not QVC employees, so I'm not sure if this is true. Maybe they are checked. I know the suggestions posted on Facebook are monitored and I've even gotten responses from QVC hosts there.

The few times (2x-3x) I've posted in the SF, I've received a response from a mod stating they would inform and/or pass by suggestion on.

@Mindy D .........My take for the suggestion box is when it was started back in the day suggestions were passed on. Now days it may or may not get passed to whomever and then put in file 13. I dont believe the suggestion box was ever for hosts. IMO it should be labeled gripe box.

Now the viewers can go directly to a hosts FB page and most times get a response.

@Imaoldhippie @Someone from the buyers and customer service should be looking because many Forum members are long time shoppers and are also frequent buyers. There have been some good suggestions here. I'm sure anything that helps Q make more money is an asset to be taken advantage of.

@Mindy D ......I agree there are some good suggestions posted. But I have read some real well lets just say not so good suggestions. FB and other media are now and the future so people will need to use that avenue.

No non-QVC employed poster can say with certainty what QVC sees here or doesnt. They are only speculating at very best.

What makes you think no one is reviewing suggestions made here?

If you are expecting that someone will post a comment and then QVC immediately makes a policy change .... well, it never happens that way in big corporations. Too many moving parts, and one little change can often affect many departments.

If there is an issue with one customer that needs to be corrected, that's why the social team is in place.

Perhaps these are only reviewed in detail at quarterly meetings .... or the good suggestions are sent to someone for verification and suggestions for how to change what they do.

Frankly, I don't know how we can be sure who is or isn't reading the comments.

@Mindy D Um, Mindy, in your first post you stated that more than once you have seen that no one from QVC looks at the Suggestions forum. You said that as if it's a certainty that they don't. Those are YOUR words and obviously have been proven wrong by a post above.

a suggestion forum is exactly what it is......filled with suggestions from buyers and non buyers.

while those in the system that monitor them and may pass them along to the higher ups, it doesnt necessarily mean that the suggestions are going to be implemented.

@Love my grandkids What @Mindy D said that it has been forum members that she has seen that said QVC does not monitor the sggestion box. Of course forum members have no way of actually knowing this. She did not say that she saw from QVC personnel that QVC does not read the forums. So she was not proven wrong, but that forum members who have said this are the people who are wrong. She was only passing on what forum members have said.
