Model Sizing Suggestion

As a decades long clothes shopper at QVC here's my request:
I hear this over and over again "It's not a tight fit".
BUT....... the model is wearing the leggings or pants SKIN tight. So your modelling and your presentation are not in sync. It has frustrated me for years.

Could you show a model wearing the pants tight and another wearing the item loosely....and then tell us if they are sized up or down to get that appearance?

THis would save MUCH displeasure when items have to be returned....and people complain about the cost of that. And I am sure you'd prefer not to get returns also.

I agree with what you're saying. I can usually tell what size to order by how the item is fitting the models whether they say it's their normal size or not. I feel bad for them when they have to wear items that obviously don't fit.

oh, i hear you! i am continually seeing pants (pants, not leggings) that are so dang tight on the models that i am embarrased for them. maybe i am just too old and that is the style now? well, not for me. i don't think it's a look that you will ever see me in.

I don't care what 'they' say. Especially If the pants/jeans are way too tight on the very slim models, including in their backside and under-crotch seam area, it's way too tight for me.

That's when I size up one or two sizes. No matter what they say.

It's so distasteful, QVC should be ashamed of itself. IMO, it's indecent. There, I said it. Have been wanting to for some time.

@Foxxee Not being one to mince words, I've already said it several times. I totally agree. If I had a teenage boy in the house, I'd turn the TV off. The tight leggings are too suggestive for TV. I'd be embarrassed.

Another reason I've stopped watching is that the hosts focus on the height if the models. I would rather know the inseam or length of a dress or skirt. And, it doesn't matter to me what the size label says; if the article of clothing is too tight then go up a size. Doesn't matter the price or quality of the garment, something worn too tight looks cheap in more ways than one.

Yes! Even if one of the models was pre-recorded wearing the looser fit (sized up), it would be nice to see both. Normal size and another one who sized up.

I have never seen a model or host, in clothing, that came close to indecent!

Close fitting, even tight, yes. If that's a style that you dislike, OK! But indecent, come on now!

I can guarantee you, any teen-age boy, has seen far worse, in everyday life, and since we're not mincing words, I wouldn't want to communicate such a uptight attitude, about the human body, to teen-agers.

I think that it sometimes looks 'daring' (or whatever description) when they wear nude color or light camel color of leggings.

They somehow look like bare legs. From a distance, and even close-up.
