Please Please Please!

For the love of God, put the models in clothes that FIT! I saw a model (Denim & Co. show) that was in a pair of pants that were WAY too small for her. The poor woman looked awful and the only reason I can think of for why the models put up with this is that they need a job.

Same goes for one of the hosts.

Myself as well saw a big model wearing very tight pants. It didnt look good!

This gets talked about a lot, but I have to say I agree. QVC sizes go up to 3X in most cases, and the hosts/models are smaller than that. I too do not understand why it is hard for them to be given a size that fits properly, especially for "skinny" pants, leggings or jeggings.

They have several models who have disproportionally large thighs and legs. They insist on putting them in slim leg pants so they look like sausages. It's a miracle if they sell a single pair because the model look horrible.

those stylists are the ones who dress them in clothes that are ill fitting, and color combinations that are sometimes very bland. either no one there cares, or they don't see anything wrong with his/her work.

Yes, Walmart is famous for ill-dressed customers, but the OP was making the point that QVC is trying to sell these items, and failing miserably in some cases.

I think what @AuntG is pointing out is that the general public has a serious lack of taste when it comes to their fashion sense. Walmart just happens to be a place where a lot of people shop, and the perfect place to witness this first hand. Apparently QVC feels we all want to look like a hot mess

Carolyn mentioned during one of her shows, some of her Facebook fans told her she was wearing her clothes too tight.

Carolyn said her stylist told her she looks better that way.

Although, thinner, I'd like to see this stylist dress runway models. See how long she keeps her job when the designer sees models poured into the clothes.

Caroline should listen to her friends and not the terrible stylists they have at QVC. The models don't have any say it what they have to wear but I'm sure the hosts do. I like Caroline but she should look in the mirror. Maybe she should work with Leah who always looks impeccable

I think that the main dfference between how Caro and Leah dress is that Leah always wears her clothes larger, rather than smaller. I have heard Isaac tell her that she needs to size down now, but I think she is more comfortable in looser fitting cothes and she looks wonderful.

I simply cannot imagine a stylist telling someone that they look better in skin tight clothes when they don't. As has been said in this thread, wearing clothes that pull and don't close, people won't buy them.

You'd think whoever orders the models from the agency would be more cognizant of how they look in clothing. Some of those women simply are not model material. They can be large as a plus but they should have good proportions and look decent in pants or skirts.

The stylists have to dress the models they're given.

I have also wondered why they do this. I thought maybe they look better in person than what is being telecast through the tv ?? I know people say everyone looks heavier on television than they actually are. I tend to dress more like Leah, as I don't like to look like my clothing is tight. Hopefull my mirror is accurate !! LOL

Every time I see a model or host in ill fitting clothes, I wonder...don't the Q stylists see that the clothes are not being presented in a positive way??? Can't believe they don't see the folds, creases and fabric pulls on improperly dressed models and hosts.

Regardless on the size, the clothes should fit everyone properly in size and shape.

I also notice they often put the skinnier models in black and the plus size models in lighter colors like white or khaki. The light colors only accentuate the ill fitting clothes!

A very long time ago, I heard Susan Graver say that women would look more slim if their clothes were a bit more loose.

That comment changed things for me.
