For Any host Presenting Mattress/Sheets, etc.,

Please have them either stand or sit on the bed. It is not attractive to see the bottoms of their shoes. When the product rep can stand, the host should too as a courtesy. I can see a model participating on how the mattress supports one's body, but a host should be more professional. Thank you.

I agree ... they should not be sitting on the bed with their dirty shoes on! ... I am sure they would not do it at home!!!!

You are reading my mind! I agree 100%. Same goes for lounging while watching the Amazon presentation a few days ago with shoes on the sofa. Bad for the viewer.

I agree, not a good look...you can press on it or sit on the side of the mattress.

Sometime last year, a certain QVC host was not just lying on the bed but she was completely under the covers up to her neck. You only saw her head and the vendor was standing up talking. It looked so odd and out of place. Lying on the bed is one thing but covered by a sheet or blanket up to her neck is another.

Lazy host and I know which one it is. This host thinks when a sheets or mattress presentation is on it is their opportunity to zone out and let the vendor do the work. sorry lady, be prepared and do your job, it is not breaktime

Yes @tropics21 I've seen those kick back moments and fully relax shows

with recliners as well. Stretching out and taking it easy time.

OK, I'll bite. I respect your opinion, here's mine...

It's a bed. It's a recliner. I have absolutely no problem with the host laying on the bed or reclining back in the chair with their shoes on. I am well aware that [most] people don't do that at home. But they are selling the mattress. "Not attractive to see the bottoms of their shoes??" I didn't even know if this was even a serious statement or not.

As mentioned I said if the vendor was standing or sitting, the host should follow suit. Lying down, covering up with a blanket while the OAP is presenting doesn't seem very courteous. I must be different as I don't want to see dirty shoe bottoms and things that are stuck on there. I don't personally know anyone who does. I'm delighted you have no problem with it; I did. I won't be commenting this any further; I made my point.

During a mattress presentation, I also just remembered a QVC host (now former QVC host), had a wine glass in one hand and gets on her hands and knees on the mattress with her back arched and sits on her side taking a sip from her glass. I'm thinking "Whoa! What are you doing?" I'm no prude but that was a lot for a national shopping channel.

You don't need to show every single activity to do on a mattress. We can figure that out ourselves! LOL
