New Topic for Welcome Get Started Sub-Forum

Since we have a sub-forum called Welcome Get Started, I wonder if the Q would consider adding some kind of post clarifying that the Q forums are for interactions between fellow viewers and customers and not for interactions between the viewer/customer and the hosts.

I don't really know how many new people visit the Welcome Get Started folder before they write their first post, however I am seeing an increase in posts that appear to be initiating an inquiry to the host, who we all know is not going to see it.

Personally, I don't mind being the welcome wagon and trying to find what the host is wearing (clothing/shoes) however so many posters are becoming desensitized to these types of inquiry they could be ignoring them.

Frankly this could be a missed money making opportunity for the Q. I have found shoes and clothing worn by hosts and provided links which may or may not have resulted in a sale (heck I don't know).

To quote Strother Martin in Cool Hand Luke "What we got here is a failure to communicate".

Either we need the hosts to be more specific and drive home that communication with them comes exclusively via facebook

We need some kind of NEW post in the Welcome Get Started folder.

If the host is wearing a QVC item then pop that item number up on the screen. For example: Leah is wearing..... Kerstin is wearing.....

HSN did it

@Bird mama. I agree it's a good idea. I think we all get weary of wondering where Kirsten got her tee shirt, but we hate to ignore innocent newcomers. Seems like we spend a lot of time advertising for other retailers.

On the other hand, the mods have said no new forums, so there may not be much hope.

Love the idea of telling us what the hosts are wearing. I watched Rhonda Shear yesterday on HSN, and I so loved the caftan she wore all day. Anyone out there have an idea who makes it?

Hi @fit model I rarely watch QVC live and I watch HSN even less, lol. I don't know what Rhonda was wearing yesterday. I didn't want you to think we were ignoring you here
