How is the shipping method determined

I pretty unhappy that my $70 LDO shirt was sent US Mail, while my clearance priced dresses were sent UPS Sure Post allowing my to upgrade to UPS delivery.

How is this determined can a moderator please tell me how this happens.

Good question! When ever I buy from QVC, I'd say that pretty much ALL of them are shipped USPS. I hate that becuse it takes longer, and we live in a complex where there is a mailbox station. Often our packages are mixed up - and sometimes lost. With UPS, they came right to our front door. We still pay the same shipping price, but don't get the old UPS service anymore.

When I asked cs years ago I was told it was random, I even offered to pay more for UPS. This was when I had a regular UPS person and they always came to my door and rang bell. (I live in apt)

It does seem now UPS is delivering to my door, maybe only with Amazon packages.

@I am still oxox The Order Entry system defaults to generic ship methods for most items. This means that the distribution center will determine the least costly actual ship method to ensure timely delivery.

I will pass along the feedback.
