Why did QVC start telling us how tall the models are in relation to fit? Being 5’6 doesn’t make me a large!!!! How about bust size waist size?? It annoys me to the point of not buying clothes when I hear these misleading comments!

QVC has been doing this for quite some time now. I now look to the 'click here' and check out the actual garment measurements and this has helped. They probably felt that giving all the measurements in the presentation takes too long, but that is just my guess.

I am happy to hear how tall the model is. I am tall and I am usually concerned about the hemline. It helps me make a decision, particularly when purchasing pants. So some of us benefit from this information.

@10154I think we all have to turn to the click here measurements because we each have our own needs. I know I have fit issues no matter where I buy.

I have zero interest in seeing row upon row of numbers on air. If I'm ever buying, I absolutely need to see the numbers in front of me where I can study them and actually compare adjacent sizes. CLICK HERE is the only thing that works for me.

It would be more helpful to know measurements of the models. Knowing height helps a little bit, but I need more info though I'm sure the models wouldn't be comfortable with the whole world knowing!

I'm not gonna buy clothing online (or from Q) any more. I'm not 20 years old, so nothing EVER fits just right. I have to be able to try it on first.

I recently purchased the Isaac Mizrahi TSV after carefully studying the fit on the models. The cotton is great quality, great colors, but it shows every roll I have -- the shirts are just too clingy. Don't know why I fell for it, or why I think since it looks great on the models, it will look great on me ;o(

Do you have any small models for it would be helpful--I am 5 ft--medium. It would be helpful to many.

@Beauty Maven The models, especially the pudgy ones, are Spanxed to the max so none of those nasty bulges show. When I order Isaacs tees, I order up a size so they are loose. That's makes them more comfortable in hot weather too.

You're right @Kachina624 -- "Spanxed!" I do need Spanx! My problem is I'm only 5 feet tall, and all my weight is in my stomach. When I buy the larger sizes, they're often too big in the shoulders (as were the Mizrahi tee's). It's different for every piece of clothing I try.

Guess I'd better get back on the Pilates machine that's collecting dust in my 2nd bedroom!!

@phoenixbrd, your comment puzzles me, because I think the opposite. It does not help me to know how tall the model is, even if she is the exact same height as I am. Especially for pants. Her legs might be longer than mine, for example, and, so, the pants will fall a different place on her ankles than mine. Its about leg length, not overall height.

You don't find this to be the case?

When buying pants height is menaingless, inseam is what matters. Two people can be the same height, but one can wear average pants and the other may need talls.

QVC sizing has been an issue for me lately. I

just returned three tops that were in my regular size and none fit just right! I have not gained nor lost weight, but the tops were definitely sized weirdly! I do check the Click Here chart, but it so off sometimes! Guess I'll stop ordering clothing from the Q.

They claim they show the models' sizes so we can relate to someone who looks like us. Well, most of those models are tall and xxs to s, so that lets me out with them. I do resemble Carolyn, in fact that flower shirt she had on yesterday showed her tummy, so it immediately warned me off. My rule is to go up one size for knits over woven in each line.
