QVC2, why not in HD?

I'm guessing cost is the answer, but we recently got into the 21st century at our house and got HD and boy the difference.

It is now hard to watch Q2 because the picture is so much worse than Q. It's harder to see detail on products and the overall experience is just not great.

Any chance there is any information out there about if and when Q2 will go HD?

@Mominohio, it must be your cable provider. I do get Q2 in HD here. The only shopping channel I watch that I don't get in HD is JTV. I know that is also offered in HD but my cable company isn't choosing to provide it in HD right now.

I'm not very tech savvy, and perhaps that is it, that DirecTV doesn't broadcast Q2 in HD. I guess I just assumed it was the networks that chose whether they were done in HD or not, never occurred to me it could be the cable/satellite provider. Thanks for that thought.

I agree - it's hard watching QVC2 because the picture is so poor. I've often wondered the same thing - why isn't it in HD? I have DirecTV and they've just said the rates are going up again!

I guess it's time to make that call.

We finally have Q2 in HD. I wish we could get BeautyIQ, but my cable company doesn’t carry it. I watch it on my iPad Pro & it’s as good as my TV.

I wish we just got it.

There was an HD and an SD channel added to our channel guide some time back but there is still nothing there at all - on either of them. Odd, that.

@chickenbutt, is it at all possible your box needs to be updated? Can you restart it? Sometimes our channels get all messed up and we have to reboot our cable box.

I have SiriusXM in my car and if channels are added, sometimes I have to call and have them reboot my radio so I get all the channels.
