During the recent Fanny Shoe Show, which was GREAT btw, I didn't understand why there were thick shag rugs that the models were standing on. It didn't make sense as you couldn't see the entire shoe. When modeling shoes, they should be standing on the floor so that we can see the entire shoe, how it sits flatly, etc. I just didn't understand it. I've seen the shag throw rugs on other shoe shows as well and it just doesn't make sense.

I am guessing they didn't want to scar the soles of the shoes because they would be selling them after the models took them off.

I get that; maybe a very low pile carpetting? It was hard to see the shoe with the thick shag carpetting. Just a suggestion for QVC to consider.
