Fix Shipping Problem on Charlie Bears

Please fix the Problem with the Charlie Bears that DO NOT list shipping restrictions for OH and MA still not shipping. I put a bear that had no restrictions in the item description in my cart and checked out and it said it could not ship to My address.

We've already had an extensive thread on this subject. Theres some reason why these bears can be shipped to certain locations; the decision wasn't arbitrary. The last I heard the mods were trying to determine the reason. Here is the thread.

That document mentions nothing at all about MA or OH and flammability. The MA issue seems to be licensing and labeling. The OH issues are licensing, labeling, and testing.

It's only PA that talks about flammability issues and the dolls can be shipped to PA, so that's not the problem. Why scare about flammability people for no reason?

@Alison Wonderland As Kachina624 referenced in this thread, there is another post initiated by the OP regarding Charlie Bears not being allowed to ship to MA and OH. In that cross referenced thread, customer service suggested that the contents/construction of the Charlie Bears is what prevents them from being shipped to MA and OH.

I thought it would be beneficial to the OP, if not you, to share that there are specific regulations for the states of PA, MA and OH when it comes to stuffed animals.

I looked into this to , it was thought that it was the beads that some of the bears are stuffed with. There are other bears, item numbers starting with H that are just normal Plush bears that have no restriction's in the description of the item as for shipping ..the other bears starting with C have these restrictions. I tried ordering one of the bears with No shipping restrictions and it would not go through ordering.

@spend4zen I feel bad for you, I sincerely do. Although it is somewhat different, I flash back to Care Bears in the 80's and remember when it was hard getting them for my nieces (now grown women) as a Christmas present. Charlie Bears are quite distinctive and beautiful and I sincerely hope that QVC finds a way to resolve the issue for the items beginning with the letter H.

I heard a short while back that a solution was being worked on about shipping Charlie Bears to OH and MA. Has anyone started on that or has any progress been made? I have started collecting these Bears and I am really disapointed that I can't order from QVC. I understand that it is not QVC's Problem or that it might just be the Vendor but a solution would be nice.

There is no "shipping" glitch concerning the Charlie Bears. It has to do with the stuffing of the bears; certain bears are stuffed with fillings that are banned in Ohio and MA.Some of the bears WILL ship.
