I was just watching the presentation on A92282. I really like this style and loved several of the colors it's available in. However, I'm seriously allergic to wool. (I'm not talking it's itchy, I'm talking serious hives and throat swelling just being anywhere near wool). I've always been bummed when they have these lovely Irish sweaters, since I can never wear one. I'm in one of the coldest states, so would definitely get a lot of use out of it, but would need an acrylic version.

Any others out there with a wool allergy that would wear this sweater if it was acrylic?

Adding that a cotton version would be even better!

Wool is a national export for Ireland. They're not likely to blossom forth with another fiber.

I see no point to importing acrylic sweaters from Ireland. Sort of defeats the purpose. If wool is a non-starter, then maybe cotton, but really, a synthetic is a synthetic and would it really matter that it came from Ireland?

I would love a cotton alternative. I also get hives, even from Merino wool... Great idea!
