Lets have a thumbs down as well as a thumbs up please!

I think a thumbs down would be an asset to the forums and would be better than someone voicing their disagreement with a poster in words and possibly having the post moved or the whole thread moved....

.A thumbs down would be a way for us to disagree and not in words. I would prefer that!

@SeaMaiden, I agree with you on a Thumbs down button. For most of us, it would be very useful to "voice our disagreement" - yet, there are always those special few that have the attitude - 'JMHO & I am entitled to express it!' - and would post their thoughts regardless of the "Thumb down" option.

Completely Thumbs Up on a Thumbs Down icon.

I am amazed there isn't a thumbs down. Example, now you could show 10 hearts, but supposed it showed 10 hearts and 200 thumbs down. Totally different message.

because a forum is a group of people who have different opinions and a voice. Otherwise why have a forum? That would not be very interesting. It does not invite arguments.... it invites ideas.

Too much negativity now without

adding a Thumbs Down on people's posts.

Better we explain why we disagree

with a post imho instead of stamping a

big negative 👎 on it.

Although I know I would use a thumbs down icon very, very rarely since I would more commonly just move on, there have been a few times I have longed for that option.

I disagree, when trying to explain why we disagree there are some that will not accept differing opinions therefore a thumbs down option is so much better.

but if you want different opinions and "a voice"

and "ideas" shared that doesn't happen

with a big negative simple thumbs

button so probably there's not a

This was discussed a couple of weeks ago at length in another thread ("Suggestion for the Moderators" - link: http://community.qvc.com/t5/Suggestion-Box/Suggestion-for-the-Moderators/m-p/2756729#U2756729).

I still contend that a thumbs down is a bad idea, for reasons stated in that thread. I seriously doubt any new features are on the horizon, though, and frankly I wish they'd attend to all the existing glitches instead of trying to change features.

NO to thumbs down. There is enough negativity on this site. There is probably a reason that Facebook does not have a dis-like button. It's easy to be negative when you can be anonymous.

Those who were making them before would be making even more, because no one would respond to them in a post, just voting thumbs down - which they would probably laugh at and keep right on.
