You're great! Next, I would like to know if Lock & Lock is ever going to bring back the Egg Storage Container? Please let me know. Thank you. Audelia

I don't know if they will bring it back, but many of us had a problem with eggs in that container mildewing. I wrote to LnL and they offered to send me another one, but I refused it. I purchased a hard plastic egg container that is available on the market by several manufacturers and have had no problem with it.

I have a winter home & a summer home .... both homes have 2 Lock& Lock egg containers in the refrigators and I have never had a problem with mildew in them ... they are a great way to store the eggs!!!!

I watch all of your shows as much as possible. I bought my kitchen aide mixer and love it so much but then I saw a few flower prints on some that friends own. I am wanting one of them. Will you ever bring any on the show with flower prints or will you only have solid colors?

The issue with the egg container is easily resolved. It occurs because people put warm or room temperature eggs in the container.

Eggs release moisture. When warmer eggs are placed in he container (i.e. warmer than refrigerator temperator), the moisture released condenses back on the eggs and the conainer as they chill. The simple solution is to put the eggs in the refrigerator in their original package when you bring them home from the store. After a few hours, the eggs will be chilled, and can be moved over to the LnL conainer and put back in he refrigerator. This solves the problem, and the egg container works wonderfully.

I've heard from various food experts that it's best to leave eggs in the carton they come in. Material allows moisture to escape whereas hard plastic doesn't breath. I so agree with poster before mine - why move eggs to another container and never leave them uncovered in those refrigerator supplied boxes. They can take on flavors of other foods. The egg suppliers studied the issue and I assume know best.

Kitchen Aid Mixer decals can be found online. That may be what your friend had. I just checked them out also. Pretty neat. I have the Cobalt Blue Kichen Aid Professional bowl lift model and love it.

Yeah, cookbooks, I really don't buy any more . Internet , you can go online and find about anything you need. I may pick up old retro ones back when people really cooked from scratch from goodwill or flea markets.

I have the kitchen aid mixer and food processor, Masterbuilt smoker, pressure cookers out the wazoo too.

@DJoyner, no, I don't believe you "like David very much." I have seen far too many posts regarding hosts that are chock-full of personal insults as yours is where the poster figures they can get away with it because they *said* "I like/love so-and-so" when in reality anyone can see it's used as a ploy to insult.

Cute? No. Clever? No. New and different? No. Tacky? Yes. Bless your heart, as David would say.

I put a folded paper towel in my lock and lock egg holder to absorb moisture. No more mold.
