Please, no more days of Dyson every other hour!

First of all, I don't know anyone who doesn't know how to use a vacuum. Second, a full hour on any vacuum is overkill! It's an insult to your viewers at this point! Please, after the midnight showing, limit vacuums to 30 min. Even that is more than enough time!

I think they are spending too much time on many items. I don't need 20 minutes of explaining a pair of shoes or a ring.

Show the product, give fabric, color and sizing info and move on.

Or people are watching QVC too many hours a day like it's a form of entertainment. If you think about it, they would have to have an awful lot of inventory to spend only a few minutes on explaining one item.

As much as we like our Dysons ( I have 2, my son has 2 and my daughter has 1)... A 10 minute demo is more than enough.

Forget persuading the sellers to stop selling - TSV's are like illegal drugs - as long as there's a market, they'll sell all day long. You have to get people to stop buying 4, 5, or 7 of those machines! (PS- I'm not guilty - no Dysons in my closets.)

Many vendors buy air time from QVC. So it makes sense that QVC must give them what they paid for .

They do that with every TSV .... I don't like it either so I just change the channel. 😇

It drives me crazy, too. I had QVC on most of yesterday as background noise while I did other stuff and every time I looked up, it was Dyson. Blargh. I have a corded Dyson and a handheld one already and know how they work. Oh well.

Dysons sell well so QVC will continue have them on a lot and have such presentations. I think weekends are loaded with 'extra' presentations because they figure a lot more people are home and likely channel surfing.

FORGET TELLING PEOPLE TO BASICALLY CHANGE THE CHANNEL. WE'VE HEARD THAT ALL BEFORE!!! IT'S BESIDE THE POINT!!!!!!!!!! TOO MUCH TIME SPENT ON ONE PRODUCT HAPENS ALL THE TIME ON QVC.

@Karnerblue, QVC has a huge inventory of merchandise. They just choose to show the same things over and over. Take a look at .com sometime. You might be surprised.

QVC broadcasts programming to millions of homes across multiple time zones. People are constantly turning in. As a result, in order to generate sales, QVC has extended presentations multile times throughout the day -- particularly for items which have a high profit margin.

While some people here wish to think that /qvc should center around their own particular viewing habits, it does not and cannot. Sure, a handful of people on the forums get bored. So what? The thousands of purchases made by others more than makes up for it, and it is these purchases that QVC depds upon.

QVC is a retailer. It exists to make sales and make money. It does not exist to entertain us, alleviate our boredom, or keep us company. QVC is not our friend.

I can understand the viewpoint about the different time zones, but QVC does not need to spend 1 hour talking about vacuums, shoes, clothing, small electrics,etc., anything that is a TSV. A half hour would be sufficient to get the point across Then a shorter presentation time on later shows, with perhaps a longer presentation later in the day. Otherwise, it's just repetitive. I check to see what the TSV is, and if it's nothing that I am interested in, off QVC goes. Total time taken, probably 5 to 10 seconds.

I will have to agree....an entire hour devoted to JUST one item is ridiculous.

We are in the market right now for a new vaccuum...we have owned 4 Dysons over time, and loved them, and I tuned in to see what the TSV was....well, it wasn't what I wanted, I have a stick already and it has given me nothing but trouble since I bought it.

Anyway...th entire hour was devoted to this stick vaccuum, over and over and over and over....zizzing up yarn and furballs, and dust, and coffee grounds on this surface and that surface. Frankly, I switched channels.

IMO all of his posts are in code: code for QVC employee. All they ever do is defend QVC's actions. They are all basically the same post; only the product or issue varies but the message is always the same. QVC can do no wrong.
