Problems with log in

Something is glitchy with log in, sometimes I don't notice I'm not logged in anymore and I hit the to post button and it takes me to the log in screen but then it doesn't log me in. It just reloads the log in page over and over and I lose the post I was trying to make.

I have had that same thing happen to me several times. I wish they would address it. It seems to happen after you enter a response or post to the form and hit enter – they you find out you were no longer signed in and it takes you to the screen to enter your password. It will not accept your password and you have now lost everything you wrote for the forum posting. It is very frustrating!

I've had log in issues the past few days also....I'll log in and it will show up, then try to post and it shows I'm not logged in and then loose what I've typed in...then move to different area on forum and it shows that I am still logged in but only in certain areas of the forum.

Long story short I seem to have to repeat logging in multiple times ?

Yes same thing happens to me. I have pretty much given up hope that QVC will ever get This site to run correctly. I think they do not care. It is almost an embarrassment that such a large company has the most cheesy website held together with duck tape.

I get logged out all the time. Yesterday I was logged in and typed a response to a thread. When I clicked post, it took me to the log in screen. I logged back in, but it didn't post my comment, nor did it save a draft of my comment. This has been happening for a few months, mostly since they went to the new format over the summer.

Yes, to me as well, and found 2 solutions. First, seems I am not logged in but able to "reply", so of course they take you to the log-in page which messes things up. So I try to sign-in before replying. However, if I forget and am taken to the log-in page after composing a response, here's what I do. Sign in, then after it gives you the log-in page again, hit the back button. I think you have to do it twice, but it seems to then go back to your response - which will have posted. Very weird.

The same thing has happened to me for weeks ... I thought it had something to do with my iPad Air ..... it is so annoying to keep signing in every time I want to post something or check an order ..... Hope they fix the " bug" in their system!!!!!

But in the example you give, it doesn't actually allow me to log in. Instead if just reloads the log in page again over and over.

I raise my cyber hand ...[me too] I agree with the other member who said they will never fix this website ... I wish they would go back to the old format it had problems but it was much easier to navigate and it was user friendly.... I also miss the ignore button and some other features this format does not have.

@wildcat fan @jaxs mom @apple1964 @January121 @Desi @Havarti @June222 and @deja vu, whenever I remember (which is most of the time), after I finish composing my reply -- and before I click on the "post" button -- I make a copy of my reply.

This way if I have to log in again, and the auto save hasn't saved my reply, then I can just paste the copy of my reply into the posting box.

It takes a tiny bit of extra work but, essentially, it's a real time saver and I don't feel all that frustration at having to recompose a long post.

We are trying to get to the bottom of why you are having this experience and I have a couple questions.

Can you please tell me what the timeframe is between when you first sign in and when you are posting and finding out you are no longer logged on?

Were you still browsing in the community when this happens or were you away from it for an extended period of time?

I have no idea on the timing. I'm here off and on all the time. And it's happened many many times. The one common denomenator is that if I'm not logged in and I try to post it takes me to the log in screen but it doesn't actually log me in an take me back to the post, or the forums, in it just refreshes the log in screen over and over and over.

Hi .... as far as the timeframe goes it seems if I sign in to the forums & reply to something then jump over to my order status to check my order I have to sign in again ... then if I try to place a new order I have to sign in again ... then go back to the forums & I have to sign in again!!!!!!! .. I am getting so tired of signing in!!!! .... QVC should have a sign in screen & a log out screen .... we should be able to stay active on all areas until we choose to sign off.

@Eva-QVC thank you for looking into this.

My issue is slightly different from everyone else.

It's combined with an issue I had this past saturday when the QVC system eventually shut down my account because the software thought I was a spammer. lol, clearly I'm not. *s* I was merely sending out Notifications to Wen members of a current OTO (on saturday at around 3:15pm ET).

When my account got shut down, I set up a secondary account in order to get help from the moderators and posted my problem in my Moderators - please help: I can't seem to post thread. @Beth-QVC and @Kim-QVC were great and reopened my account in about 10 minutes. -- They mentioned that IT would be tweeking the computer system to make sure that this didn't happen again.

After that I continued to have ongoing problems with having to log in. Sometimes it would be every 10-15 minutes. And a few times I had to sign in 3-5 times before I could actually sign in. I had this problem through last night.

As of today, everything is back to normal.

Yeah, I've been fighting that battle for weeks. I think I figured it out. Works for me anyway. I'm still signed on when I go into Qvc.com. So, I sign out. Then I sign back on to Qvc.com. Then I go down and click on "blogs and forums" and I sign out. Then I wait a minute and sign back on. And then.....I have access to the boards. In all these years, I never had to do that little tap dance. But I have to do it now.

No, it is when I first log in ... it keeps redirecting me back to the sign in page. However I am noticing that when I am going online to shop and want to add something to my cart or want to check my order status it happens then too. The time frame might be a couple of seconds and then it fixes it self or sometimes it freezes for a second or lags for a second or two. It also takes a few mintues for a quote or a thread I have typed up to process also the pages jump for several seconds. There are a lot of gliches and bugs on this website. Thanks for your interest .. Hope you get these issues fixed.

Hello Eva ...There are so many problems with this website it is laughable. Pages jumping, The fonts changing from very small to very big. I tried to answer your quote this morning but, it would not load. I dont know the time frame but, I resign several times for going to order status, community boards , and to order something online. It also takes several mintues for a thread to load and I miss the ignore button, Thanks for your interest hope you get the bugs fixed! Have a nice day! Anyway, can we get the old format back? cause I do not care for the "breadcrumbs"

Same thing happens to me every day! QVC please get this fixed-it is very annoying, and should notbe happening every day!
