Pages still jumping. UGH!

Are you still having a problem with the page jumping?

I am and it is annoying. When I click on something and the page jumps at the same time, a new item/page comes on that I didn't want to click on.

I hope I am making sense.

Q MODS, can you help us and stop the page jumping? This has been a big problem since the beginning of the new forums.

BTW, I am using my laptop.

My problem with jumping pages is that if I'm halfway down a page looking at an item or reading a post, when I'm done viewing the page, it jumps back up to the top of the page. So, you constantly have to keep scrolling down to find where you left off.. (if that makes sense.)

It's worse than ever!!!! When they fix one thing, it gets worse with the jumping. I have started counting the jumps, 1........2...........and maybe 3 jumps before I can post or go to the page I want. DO NOT tell me it's my computer. This is the only place it happens. IF the pages were human, they would be called a nervous wreck. Jump, jump, jump.

Yes. The page jumping is driving me crazy. They have said from the beginning they are working on it. No other website that I visit has this problem. I am ready to abandon ship. Can't stand it.

Mine jumps around too when I'm on my tablet. It's so annoying because I go to click on something and then it jumps and it connects me to something I didn't want. Then I have to go back and start over again.

I'm on my work computer now and it is so much easier to navigate. I doubt if QVC is even thinking about fixing it.

Yes it is REALLY bad on my phone (Android) and bad on my Ipad. It is to the point that I don't even use my phone or Ipad anymore to get on the forums or check out QVC.

I was really hoping they would have fixed this by now.

@BeTh-QVC, I am using a Samsung note 10.1 and my pages jump. It doesn't do that on my laptop.

I'm not having actual page-jumping. But sometimes the load is a lot slower than what I experience at other websites.

Furthermore, they STILL have some kind of problem with script or something, because this site constantly takes my browser window down whether I'm using IE or Chrome, and no matter which computer I'm using at any given time.

They need somebody to fix the website and that will probably also take care of the 'jumping' problems some experience.

Beth... I only have a laptop and it happening on that. It's frustrating!!! It has to be with the QVC software because it doesn't happen in any other website. Barbara

@Beth-QVC, This bouncing or jumping only happens to me when I'm using my iPad (3rd generation) and iPhone 5, both iOS 8.4.1. Of course, those are using Safari. When I use my iMac (OS X 10.10.5) I don't see it happening, with Firefox 40.0.3, or Chrome 45.0.2454.85, or Safari 8.0.8.

The main problem seems to be the way a page is loaded each time we select a forum or thread, and in particular the promotional banner(s) at the top of the page make it much worse.

We've been attempting to describe the issue since the first day the new Community was launched. I think it would be helpful if your support team tries posting here with a variety of devices so you can see what we're seeing -- navigate the forums, open threads, post a comment, and see what happens. This sort of problem can't be captured in a screen shot so our descriptions are all we can offer at this point.

@Beth-QVC yes, it still is on both. I have a Samsung Galaxy phone and I am not sure which version Ipad I have as it is at work right now but it is a newer one. My phone is the worst- it jumps several times before it settles down. I no longer look QVC up on either and won't until I hear it is fixed. Hopefully soon? My laptop is fine- no jumping at all.

Hi, @chickenbutt! What do you mean when you say the site "takes my browser window down"? Are you using the most recent versions of those 2 browsers, and do you clear cookies, cache, website data frequently, close the browser and relaunch it?

I'm using an IPad. I don't have much trouble here on the forums. In fact, I can now say I like the new forums better than before. I have issues when I'm on the Q's website (QVC.com) shopping for an item. This is when it starts jumping around and even worse, I cannot place an order from my IPad. It's very frustrating. If I really want the item bad enough I'll order by phone, but most times I just say "forget it!" I don't use my Iphone for ordering or getting on the forums, so I don't have an opinion or experience with that.
