QVC - Can't you do better on TSV's?

That Lock & Lock set from yesterday is now a "whopping" $2 more today than the TSV price of yesterday!!!!! QVC - Can't you do better in giving shoppers a better break on your "so-called" TSV's???? Bummer! I canceled my order this morning, just on general principles.

I always look at any TSV from a standpoint of whether I absolutely need or want the item, and do I feel that price is a great value, period. I won't play any retailer's game of price today vs. price tomorrow. That L&L TSV only has one color left so they put it on a "feature price" instead of the $29 regular QVC price, which it will never be since they said they are not re-ordering the set.

QVC has never really given much of a break on TSVs. Between that and never really putting items on sale, their warehouses remain overloaded.

If I need and want the item, I'd rather save the $2 than save nothing. We all know QVC's business model by now and we live with it.

The very fact that OP cancelled her order "on principle" says more to me about her personal needs and shopping habits than it does about QVC. They already knew they could sell off most of that LnL stash at the price they chose.

We all just have to decide where we might get a better deal, but since I know I pay way, way more elsewhere for competitive plastics, I would have bought if I needed what they were selling. I saved the whole 20+ dollars by glancing into my cabinets and realizing I truly didn't need more.

That's my best way to save - not by blaming any company for not reducing prices more because even if they had sold that set for 19.99, I just don't need it!

I thought the L&L set was priced pretty well. I purchased it, and will split the set with my mom. If the price had been just a little lower, I would have ordered a second set. Overall, I agree that TSV prices are not that great any more. The price difference is no longer an incentive to purchase. Exceptions are beauty kits like Laura Gellar, Josie Maran, Perricone, etc. Extended easy pays can be a good incentive too, but those easy pays really add up across multiple purchases!! And I don't know why they use terms like "sale" or "clearance." We all know that real sale prices are 20%-30% lower, and clearance prices should be at least 40% - 60% lower.
