As a young senior but a plus 1x or 2x size and not TALL I have given up finding clothes to fit from QVC. Models or hosts are never shown wearing this size clothing and/or without major underpinnings. I want comfort meaning no shapers but clothes that are atttractive/stylish. Lori's clothes way too thin materal and only look good on thin models and the same could be said for other designers. Quacker Factory better but I don't want bling all the time. QVC seems not inclusive of this demographic in the models---people watch a while and notice how many of us are a bit older 65+ and with gravity issues.

Pam, Terry, Iris, Jackie, Maria and Adrienne (I think that is her name) are all larger sizes. Bob Mackie has many lovely things for plus size, Susan Graver has some nice things as long as you avoid those ultra long tops she does, Louis (Linea) has beautiful things for plus size.

I'm not a plus size, but I don't like most of the clothing styles from anywherer anymore, not just at QVC. I have a couple of catalogs I typically buy a few things from, but I'm just not buying that much anymore, of anything. I wear the same type of clothing from year to year because it's comfortable for me and fits my lifestyle and I think it at least looks polished enough when I go out in public. I'm not into fashion trends at all anymore.

I do have to comment on your "young senior" remark too. I like that! And I think it fits me perfectly!

There has been endless discussion about the Q using 2 and 3X models. They're not going to do it because their primary goal is to make the clothing look good so it will sell. Face it ladies, those sizes don't show off clothing to its best advantage. I know how a 3X looks in her clothing and seeing her would not entice me to buy it.

Bogarb, Have you tried Denim & Co.? Their sizing is generous, they are well-made and they nearly always offer true petite sizes. Their elastic waist 2-pocket pants in a million colors are the best thing since sliced bread. Quacker Factory has "short" sizes but no petites. If you're a true petite, they won't fit. The waist will come up to your bra and beyond.

QVC nearly always includes a plus size model in every clothing presentation, but they're all very tall.

The real difference between an XL and a 1X is negligible.

The REAL determining factor with larger sizes is the BODY SHAPE ...... If you are a 2X and a pear shape, seeing a 2X model with an apple shape really is n't going to give you much information ...

Let's face reality .... ALL garments look much better on the smaller sizes.

I think there are some 2X models already. It is simply that with the vanity sizes on the Q they go down a size or 2.

I have noticed that the "plus sized models" all seem to be a large these days but with a few I doubt it. When a model can't close her jacket, it certainly is an indication the size she is wearing is too small.

Gosh I think there are lots of plus size models. Jackie seem to be on every day. Also there are quite a few hosts who would qualifu as plus size. I am a petite and they only show petite models about once a week. I think when it comes to marketing and merchandising they pretto much target the "average" Even retailers like Lands End and L.L. Bean who offer clothing in Plus or Petite show their clothing in "average" size models. Also I have always found QVC to have very generous sizing. I wear an XS for QVC clothing but in the retail stores I am a M. Just part of todays world I guess.

by plus i mean a 1//2/3x and they are not there; i watch the q some every day--many women my age are not in the best physical condition and just want attractive things, get so tired of sending things back regardless of brand, size-

i agree that big gap between being a xl to a 2x and body shape does matter; hmmm--i'm wondering about software that could be applied---you pick body shape via avatar and then see that outfit on it
