I think it should be post Re moved, moved means relocated and they are surely not being relocated they are being deleted or REMOVED

I agree. When we see "post moved," we look for it somewhere else, and it's nowhere to be seen.

There is a category titled "Deleted Posts/Threads" that only shows up in the link they provide, so technically it is "moved" - they may do that in case there is ever a review by moderators and it might be reinstated. But I think a better (just IMO) designation might be "Moved" for threads that were actually moved between existing forums, and "Removed" for threads that are deleted from the viewable forums. After all, as long as they can still access it, however they label it doesn't really matter and "Removed" says it very clearly.

The area to which they move a given post or thread is probably a location that is not viewable by us. There is probably a reason for it, and I'll stop there.

I'm not sure why all this nitpicking of the moderators, but this is their house so they do what they are instructed to do. I doubt that any amount of SCREAMING at them is going to change that, either.

I do say if you want to use the boards you got to play by the rules and no questions asked. Mods do what they have to do. Don't forget they have bosses and they have to comply what is told for them to do. I bet at the end of their work day they go home talking to themselves with all the flack they get. I don't think it's easy decisions for them.

And, I have no sympathy for the moderators who I think are given broad discretionary powers to poof at will. Perhaps one of them will come here and correct me if I'm wrong. I do like the mental picture you painted though of them driving home talking to themselves!

With all due respect because I enjoy posting with you, if we hadn't raised a ruckus back in 2010, the last time they sprung a new forum on us, we'd still be dealing what everyone agreed was a poor decision. If we hadn't raised ruckus two weeks ago, we'd still have games cluttering the boards and no-sub forums. It is my personal opinion that the level of moderation is adversely changing the dynamic of this place though that's probably not what they intended. I think its a matter of finding a balance and for, the scales are tipped way to far to one side right now.

Thank you - you are absolutely right! The messages should say if they are "removed" or "moved"...we will be more careful in the future.
