Post removed in Community Chat with no reason

I was participating in a friendly chat about candy for Pete's sake and the thread was removed and there is no indication of the mod who did it and why it was moved. The title was The return of posters. I want to know why it was removed. My email addy is on file.

@Community_Team I'd like to know as well. If your going to sensor the boards that much (yes, a bit too much, find a happy medium) you need to be posting the why's every time.

I'm trying really hard out here to make this work, because I value a lot of the friendships I have made. It's advantageous(sales) to the Q to have it, but you all need to stand up and do your part.

Must be because the mods are in middle school. The forums certainly seem to have degraded to a childish level. Time for some reflection on the part of management regarding this debacle.

They can erase our hearts!!? They delete our posts for no good reason!!

And at the moment, I'm watching them sell Item H 200455 Bethlehem Lights fountain candle that is fraught with 1 star reviews about the pump quickly failing. Granted, it's $10 off the original price, but it shouldn't be sold anymore now that they know it's defective.

COME ON, Q !!!!! I've had it. I'm done. I've shopped here since 1989. You guys have pushed me out. I'll miss it but I cannot stand what's happening with this company, the high prices, the sales tactics, the absurd censoring on the forums.. There are too many other places to shop.

birdmama, they did post a reason why the thread was removed - if you have your thread view set to 50 threads per page, it is on the second page.

That whole thread was mainly nothing but baiting - I was surprised to see it go on as long as it did, quite frankly. It seems that the Q community knows more about the members than the moderators!

Your candy comments were sweet you were trying to bring it back to a nice lighthearted chat, but the damage had been done by that time.

I followed that thread a little last night. It sure didn't start out as being about candy. Then I was away for a while and when I came back there was over 200 replies. I could not tell what the heck was being batted back and forth. Was it candy? It was weird to me. So I left.

The Q must of hired all these "new" moderators. IMO it will taper off in a bit. (they want us to get used to the STRICT posting rules) Not a whole lot can be talked about on community chats.

Thanks for bringing the location of the moved thread to my attention Biancardi. As soon as it happened, I thought I would see why. I wanted to determine if it was something I said. I never expected the moderator to immediately bury it on page two.

I will agree that there were a few tense posts for a minute or two, but overall was not the ugliest thread I've ever read.

QVC Moderators - never mind :-)

Funny how they're not so willing to wish to the cornfield posts that are seemingly in their defense. This obnoxious post (copied below in italics) was plunked right into the middle of a discussion about why a post in the TV forum was pulled (reason was "profanity" but no one knows what the "profane" word was).

To me this kind of post is the essense of what baiting, jabbing, bullying and every other verb the Q's moderators are using to describe posts that are intended to incite an arugmentative reaction from others. If I'd had my "ignore user" button I would have employed it.

Go ahead and moderate to your heart's content, but be fair and pull posts that are looking for trouble, even as they cast you in a "positive" light:
