A Suggestion for the Models on QVC.

Please add more male models, male clothes and male jewelry.

Not run of the mill clothes for men, either. They could probably get that anywhere. I mean some fancy pinstrip suits, cuff links, bold bracelets, men's rings, dress shoes, ect.

It would be great to appeal to the male audience. I know they may not shop as much on shopping channels as women, but this might be the way to bring them in.

Anyway, just a friendly suggestion.

Years ago they did try adding men's clothes...I do not think it went over big.

I always wondered why Q V C didn't sell men's jewelry, watches, shirts, ties, sweaters. I think men can't their suits and pants via tv, too many fit issues; that would be a hard sell. But a lot of women buy the things I listed for the men in their lives and the men who buy electronics from Q V C would buy things too. I think there is an untapped market out there.

.......You got me. But I was also thinking along the lines of Men's Warehouse and the like.

One thing QVC MUST do, though, is get the sizing sorted out. A man probably has way less patience for having to deal with sending something back because the size was wrong and then reordering the right size, hoping it'll be right.

Also, a while ago, a man posted on this forum saying that it'd be nice if Temp-Tations sold more neutral cookware instead of the constant Old World patterns. Reading glasses (ones that look masculine) for the men would be nice, too.

One more suggestion...and please no one take this the wrong way........

But it might be best to bring in new vendors who know how to make clothes for men. I don't think a guy is going to want to wear things designed by LOGO or Susan Graver. No offense to these ladies, but I think it may be best if a man was designing men's clothes, since they may know more about the male body.

Not verbally bashing the female clothes vendors. Just another suggestion.

I remember that also. I am sure if it had been a big money maker for the Q, they would have continued the men's items.

didn't the Q. sell some Joseph Banks clothes...shirts..ties...sweaters....seems like i remember a long while back....

they, also, sold mens jewelry...Forenze....or some kind of name like that...it may still be on their website...

Clothes won't work.

HSN does some accessories: watches, cuff links, rings, gold/silver chains a few times a year.

Shoes: Easy. Black. Brown. Slip on or Lace Up.

Men don't shop. Go in, grab what is needed, pay, leave.

You know, I was going to post that same question last night. I have a vague vague vague recollection of Regis having a line around the beginning of the Who Wants to Be a Milionaire craze. I want to say it was ties and shirts, to match the style of what he wore on the show.

I would also like to see more male models. Actually, there's only one that I know of - Long. He's on with Dan Wheeler when he sells NFl merchandise. And that's not very often.

I don't think most men buy enough clothes to make it worth while for the Q to offer . My son and husband only buy clothes if they absolutely need something, wants are not on their radar.
