My recipe is basic but always gets eaten. Spread whipped cream cheese on a plate. Top with some bottled cocktail sauce. Add some drained and rinsed canned shrimp. Finally sprinkle with some freshly shredded parmesan. Serve with crackers.

Stir in shrimp. Refrigerate until serving.

I put a block of creamed cheese on a plate. In a separate small bowl I mix 1/3 cup ketsup & 1 T prepared horseradish; I spread this over the cheese. On top of the ketsup mixture I layer 1/2 of a tin of well drained tiny shrimp. I serve this with assorted butter crackers. Simple, inexpensive and delicious!

Small container sour cream

6-7 oz small shrimp, drained and mashed

1/2 c mayo ("light" is fine)

2-4 T catsup

1-2 T regular or hot horseradish (adjust to taste)

Mash and blend well. Double or triple. Recipe is VERY forgiving.

Works great with potato chips but also raw veggies or other crunchy cracker and chips.
