      <description>Were they rolled in corn flakes with a piece of Maraschino cherry on top. If so they were my mom's favorite. We use to make them for Christmas. I have the recipe.</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;Thanks for asking. I haven't &amp;nbsp;made these since my mom passed. Cherry Winks Cream 3/4 c. Shortening 1 c. Sugar Blend in 2 eggs 1T. Maraschino Cherry juice 1 t. Vanilla Blend 2 1/4 c. Flour 1 t. Baking powder 1/2 t. Soda 1/2 t. Salt Add 1/3 c. Maraschino Cherries chopped 1/3c. Nuts if desired Shape into balls roll into 2 1/2 crushed corn flakes. Place 1/4 cherry on top. Bake 375 for 10 to 12 minutes. Makes 5 doz. &lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;My mom's recipe for Cherry Wink Cookies was the same but had 1 C chopped nuts &amp;amp; 1 C pitted chopped dates. &amp;nbsp;My mom's instructions said to use 1 T dough rolled in cornflakes and top w/cherries (about 18 quartered) and just use the 1/4 cherry on top.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
