Just a quick reminder that frozen turkeys should probably be taken out of the freezer today. Takes a full 24 hours for every 5lb of weight.

Happy Thanksgiving!

I gave my 15lb turkey and two 8 pound breasts a head start in the laundy tub for about 8 hours yesterday. Omg they were solid ice blocks when they went in the fridge last night. I hope they defrost by Thursday morning! I've got a great herb, lemon and butter rub I want to slather them with. This feast takes me a few days but I'm the only cook and I love feeding my family and having them home to enjoy. I hope you all enjoy your families and friends no matter how large or small!

Don't forget, after you rinse your turkey and pat it dry, allow it to chill in the sink for an hour or so.
