I don't use a recipe, I just start unloading stuff from my freezer & refrigerator adding Greek yogurt or or ricotta cheese for the protein. I've used bananas, raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, cherries, apple, pineapple, apricot, orange, grapes. Not all at one time, just what I have on hand. Yesterday I used peaches & a little bit of lemon juice with yogurt to make a quick smoothie.

I've been known to throw in a few fresh spinich leaves or some baby carrots, a piece of avocado. I also purchased a fresh ginger root and although I love ginger ale, a little of that root goes a VERY long way.

Sorry I don't have a recipe, hope you get some good responses to your question. Your recipe looks good.

@kelshar wrote:

Anyone have good Smoothie recipes?

software - sounds delicious. These past few days, I've just been using what I have in my refrigerator and freezer that's leftover. Strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, bananas. I've been using orange juice, almond milk and yogurt.

The combination of fruits, vegetables, nuts and liquids is just endless.

When making smoothies I always add spinach. I use my VItamix, purchased from the Q, to make a full pitcher of smoothies. I use a bit of water, strawberries, cherries, green apples, frozen bananas, a few carrots, and a whole bag of spinach in one VItamix pitcher and blend. I kid you not, all I taste is the fruit, not the spinach. It's not always a red color, as the spinach darkens the smoothie, but it tastes delicious. "Liquid flowing health" 😊 BTW, one pitcher makes five decent servings (large plastic cups) of smoothies. I freeze them, and thaw them on a day-to-day basis. The VItamix is my all-time favorite QVC purchase.

I have a smoothie for breakfast every work morning and I have a system that works well for me. I cut up bananas and freeze them, then add a single serving amount to a baggie with a few frozen strawberries, blueberries, spinach, etc. In the morning I just add skim milk and Greek yogurt to my Vitamix, then toss in one baggie and voilà. So easy.

I usually make up a week's worth at a time. Because all the fruits are frozen you don't have to add ice.

My smoothies are free form and no measuring--I use coconut water and handful of greens, a fruit or 2, some hemp powder and protein powder, flaxseeds and maybe a touch of honey. And I clean out my fridge too, on occasion. Sometimes a nut milk with choc powder and cocoa nibs and oatmeal or black beans. All depends on the day and how I feel. You should go to Pinterest---tons of smoothies there
