      <title>CINNAMON FRENCH TOAST</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;&lt;EM&gt;We had breakfast for dinner last night with a big fruit salad and candied bacon made in oven and this french toast.&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;&lt;EM&gt;6 T unsalted butter&lt;BR /&gt;1 cup milk&lt;BR /&gt;1 large egg&lt;BR /&gt;2 T sugar&lt;BR /&gt;2 t vanilla&lt;BR /&gt;3/4 t cinnamon&lt;BR /&gt;1/4 t salt&lt;BR /&gt;1/2 cup flour&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;&lt;EM&gt;Loaf of cinnamon bread, preferably unsliced&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;&lt;EM&gt;Slice cinnamon bread in thick slices (a little over 1 inch).&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;&lt;EM&gt;Whisk together milk, egg, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon and salt. &amp;nbsp;Melt 2 T of butter whisk into milk mixture. &amp;nbsp;Whisk in flour slowly and mix until smooth. &amp;nbsp;Pour batter into a shallow dish.&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;&lt;EM&gt;Soak bread in batter (about 30 seconds per side). &amp;nbsp;Melt remaining butter in a skillet by 1 T increments as needed. &amp;nbsp;Remove bread from batter and allow excess to drip back into dish. &amp;nbsp;Cook until golden brown on both sides. &amp;nbsp;To keep french toast warm transfer to a wire rack in 200 degree oven if necessary. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Yum!!! Love French toast. I know I have seen a candied bacon recipe on the forums but have never made or ate any. I cannot even remember how it's made. I tried chocolate covered bacon at Peterbrooke's in Jacksonville a few days ago but it's not my cup of tea.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;i rather eat breakfast instead of dinner any day of the week. I have cut way back on meat consumption. I have been eating a lot of chicken.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
