I am not one to venture out of my confort zone too often when it comes to buying meat I have never tried before but I have looked at the short ribs in the supermarket for a long time and wanted to try them but just never did. Recently I was looking for an inexpensive cut of meat to make some beef stew with so the butcher suggested the short ribs. So I thought I'd give them a try, I took them home and trimmed all the fat off and cut them into bite size pieces and browned them a little and put them in my pressure cooker for about 10-12 minutes on medium heat, they were so tender they almost fell apart and the juice was wonderful for the stew. I just added the rest of my ingredients and it was by far the best Beef Stew I have ever made so I will for sure do that again. I recommend giving them a try and if you do not have a pressure cooker try putting them in a crockpot and cooking them slow for several hours, I believe it would work the same.
