    <description>&lt;P&gt;I just finished typing this for my files.  It comes from an old cookbook - 1982 - and it sounds both simple and delicious.  I thought it might make a nice Christmas morning addition.&lt;/P&gt; &lt;P&gt; &lt;/P&gt; &lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN style="text-decoration: underline;"&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Hungarian Rhapsody Coffee Cake&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt; &lt;BR /&gt; Crust:&lt;BR /&gt; 1 c melted butter&lt;BR /&gt; 1/2 c powdered sugar&lt;BR /&gt; 2 c flour &lt;BR /&gt; &lt;BR /&gt; Mix melted butter, powdered sugar, and flour.  Pat into a 9 x 13 baking dish.  Bake 20 min in 350 deg F oven.&lt;BR /&gt; &lt;BR /&gt; Filling:&lt;BR /&gt; 1 1/2 c butter&lt;BR /&gt; 1 1/2 c sugar&lt;BR /&gt; 8 eggs, separated&lt;BR /&gt; 3 t lemon juice or vanilla&lt;BR /&gt; 1/3 c flour&lt;BR /&gt; (2) 8-oz pkg cream cheese&lt;BR /&gt; &lt;BR /&gt; Cream together butter with 1 cup sugar.  Add egg yolks one at a time, beating well after each addition.  Add lemon juice or vanilla.  Add flour and cream cheese.  Cream until smooth.  Whip egg whites, gradually add 1/3 c sugar.  Fold into egg yolk mixture.  Pour into ‘half-baked” crust.  Bake in 350 deg oven 30-45 min.  Test with knife to see if it comes out clean.  Dust with powdered sugar.  Cut into small squares.
