    <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;&lt;EM&gt;I am not a big fan of meatloaf but I love meatloaf sandwiches. &amp;nbsp;I have been trying different variations of meatloaf. &amp;nbsp;This is a saver.&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;&lt;EM&gt;2 T olive oil&lt;BR /&gt;1 large onion, chopped&lt;BR /&gt;1/2 cup diced red bell pepper&lt;BR /&gt;1/2 cup diced carrots&lt;BR /&gt;2 large cloves garlic, finely diced&lt;BR /&gt;4 oz coarse white bread (French or Italian) cut in 2 inch pieces (about 2-1/2 cups)&lt;BR /&gt;1 cup milk&lt;BR /&gt;1 pound ground beef&lt;BR /&gt;1 pound ground lamb&lt;BR /&gt;2 large eggs&lt;BR /&gt;1/4 cup cilantro, chopped&lt;BR /&gt;1/4 cup currants&lt;BR /&gt;2 t grated fresh ginger&lt;BR /&gt;1 T garam masala&lt;BR /&gt;1 T Worcestershire sauce&lt;BR /&gt;2 T honey&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;&lt;EM&gt;Heat 2 T oil in skillet over med-low heat. &amp;nbsp;Cook onion, bell pepper and carrot until softened (6-8 minutes). &amp;nbsp;Transfer to a large bowl and let cool.&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;&lt;EM&gt;In a shallow bowl soak bread in milk. &amp;nbsp;Lightly squeeze bread to remove some of the milk. &amp;nbsp;Finely chop and add to vegetable mixture.&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;&lt;EM&gt;Add beef, lamb and eggs to veg mixture. &amp;nbsp;Scatter cilantro, ginger, currants, garam masala and Worcestershire sauce over meat. &amp;nbsp;Gently mix all ingredients until just combined. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;&lt;EM&gt;Transfer the mixture to a baking pan and form into 10 x 4 inch rectangle or put in a loaf pan. &amp;nbsp;Spread honey over the top. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;&lt;EM&gt;Bake at 375 until 160 in middle (40-50 minutes).&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;&lt;EM&gt;Served this with ketchup heavily laced with Worcestershire sauce. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;&lt;EM&gt;If you like spicy&amp;nbsp;food add a minced jalapeno pepper with the fresh ginger. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;&lt;EM&gt;Now I am off to make some meatloaf sandwiches!&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
