      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="book antiqua,palatino" size="4"&gt;Mexican Wedding Cookies&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="book antiqua,palatino" size="4"&gt;1 C butter&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="book antiqua,palatino" size="4"&gt;1/2 cup granulated sugar&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="book antiqua,palatino" size="4"&gt;2 tsp. vanilla extract&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="book antiqua,palatino" size="4"&gt;2 tsp. water&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="book antiqua,palatino" size="4"&gt;2 C all purpose flower (I use White Lily)&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="book antiqua,palatino" size="4"&gt;1 C chopped almonds&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="book antiqua,palatino" size="4"&gt;1/2 C confectioner's sugar&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="book antiqua,palatino" size="4"&gt;I use parchment on the bake sheet.&amp;nbsp; It makes a nicer cookie.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="book antiqua,palatino" size="4"&gt;1.&amp;nbsp; In medium bowl, cream butter and sugar in mixer.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;Add vanilla and water.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="book antiqua,palatino" size="4"&gt;2.&amp;nbsp; Add flour and almonds.&amp;nbsp; Mix until well blended.&amp;nbsp; Cover and chill about 30 minutes.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="book antiqua,palatino" size="4"&gt;3.&amp;nbsp; Preheat oven to 325 degrees.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="book antiqua,palatino" size="4"&gt;4.&amp;nbsp; Shape dough into balls medium small size and place on parchment.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="book antiqua,palatino" size="4"&gt;5.&amp;nbsp; Bake 15-20 minutes just until barely brown on edges and the top is done but not brown.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="book antiqua,palatino" size="4"&gt;6.&amp;nbsp; Remove and cool on racks.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="book antiqua,palatino" size="4"&gt;&amp;amp;.&amp;nbsp; Dip in small deep bowl of powdered sugar seperately shake off excess.&amp;nbsp; Soore in air tight container.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="book antiqua,palatino" size="4"&gt;I hope you enjoy these!&amp;nbsp; My advanced students did these and I have given them on gift trays.&amp;nbsp; Can't ever seem to have enough!&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Forgot to mention the recipe for the Mexican Wedding cookies doubles easily..makes it much easier.&amp;nbsp; If you refrigerate the dough over night, sit it out about hald a hour first.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;We have alwasy called these Russina Tea Cakes or Mexican Wedding Cakes!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The recipe looks like mine except in place of the almonds we use chopped walnuts.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;They are very good.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
