<description>INGREDIENTS: 1 head iceberg lettuce - torn into pieces; 2 tomatoes cut up; 1 green pepper thinly sliced; 1 C thinly sliced celery; 1 small jar sliced green olives; 1 small onion thinly sliced; 1-- 8 oz. pkg. shredded cheddar; 1 bottle "Western" or "Russian" dressing (12 -16 oz. size); tortilla chips (such as "Tostitos"); 1 envelope onion soup mix; 1 lb. lean ground beef or turkey. DIRECTIONS: Combine all above ingredients (EXCEPT the meat &amp;amp; onion soup) in large serving bowl. Brown and drain meat, and mix in the dry onion soup package. Add meat mixture to salad. Mix well. Just prior to serving, break tortilla chips into bite-sized pieces and gently mix into the salad. (Do this right before serving so that the chips don't become mushy.)</description>
