Just wanted to share it with you. Let's talk a little bit about casseroles. You don't have to have a recipe to make a great casserole. You can make your own casserole recipes from the things you already have in your pantry.&lt;BR /&gt; Here is a guide to help you put together your very own casserole recipe. These things are not set in stone, they are a guide, if you want to use a little more cheese or a little less sour cream or maybe you want to use milk instead of sour cream, there are no rules! Cooking is supposed to be fun...so, have some fun!&lt;/P&gt; &lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;&lt;SPAN style="text-decoration: underline;"&gt;Protein - Select One or More&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/STRONG&gt;2 cups ham, chopped&lt;BR /&gt; 2 cups cooked chicken/turkey, chopped&lt;BR /&gt; 2 cups luncheon meat&lt;BR /&gt; 2 cups cooked beef, veal, lamb or pork&lt;BR /&gt; 2 cups hard cooked eggs&lt;BR /&gt; 2 cups hot dogs, cut into chuncks&lt;BR /&gt; 2 cups cheese&lt;BR /&gt; 2 cups canned tuna or salmon&lt;/P&gt; &lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt; &lt;STRONG&gt;&lt;SPAN style="text-decoration: underline;"&gt;Starch, cooked - Select One&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/STRONG&gt;2 cups egg noodles&lt;BR /&gt; 2 cups macaroni&lt;BR /&gt; 2 cups penne pasta&lt;BR /&gt; 2 cups of spiral or bow tie pasta&lt;BR /&gt; 2 cups rice&lt;BR /&gt; 2 cups potatoes&lt;BR /&gt; 2 cups spaghetti&lt;BR /&gt; 2 cups corn&lt;BR /&gt; 2 cups sweet potatoes&lt;/P&gt; &lt;P&gt; &lt;/P&gt; &lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;&lt;SPAN style="text-decoration: underline;"&gt;Vegetable, cooked - Select One&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/STRONG&gt;1 1/2 cups sauteed onions, green pepper; and celery&lt;BR /&gt; 1 1/2 cups cooked or canned green beans&lt;BR /&gt; 1 1/2 cups cooked or canned peas&lt;BR /&gt; 1 1/2 cups cooked or canned carrots&lt;BR /&gt; 1 1/2 cups cooked or canned asparagus&lt;BR /&gt; 1 1/2 cups cooked shredded cabbage&lt;BR /&gt; 1 1/2 cups cooked broccoli&lt;BR /&gt; 1 1/2 cups cooked or canned peas and carrots&lt;BR /&gt; 1 (13 1/2-ounce) can chopped spinach&lt;/P&gt; &lt;P&gt; &lt;/P&gt; &lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;&lt;SPAN style="text-decoration: underline;"&gt;Sauce - Select One&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/STRONG&gt;1 can cream of celery soup; and 1/2 cup of milk&lt;BR /&gt; 1 can cream of chicken soup; and 1/2 cup of buttermilk or milk&lt;BR /&gt; 1 can cream of potato soup; and 1/2 cup of sour cream&lt;BR /&gt; 1 can cream of mushroom soup; and 1/2 cup of cream or milk&lt;BR /&gt; 1 can tomato juice&lt;BR /&gt; 1 can cheddar cheese soup; and 1/2 cup of vegetable juice&lt;BR /&gt; 1 can tomato soup; and 1/2 cup of water&lt;BR /&gt; 2 cups white sauce&lt;/P&gt; &lt;P&gt; &lt;/P&gt; &lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;&lt;SPAN style="text-decoration: underline;"&gt;Flavorings - Select One or More&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/STRONG&gt;1/4 cup chopped celery&lt;BR /&gt; 1/4 cup chopped onion&lt;BR /&gt; 1/4 cup sliced black olives&lt;BR /&gt; 1 (4.5-ounce) can chopped green chilies&lt;BR /&gt; 1 (3-ounce) can sliced mushrooms, drained&lt;BR /&gt; 2 garlic cloves, minced&lt;BR /&gt; 1-2 teaspoons mixed dried leaf herbs (basil, thyme, marjoram, tarragon)&lt;BR /&gt; 1 (1 1/4-ounce) envelope taco seasoning mix&lt;BR /&gt; Salt and pepper to taste&lt;/P&gt; &lt;P&gt; &lt;/P&gt; &lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;&lt;SPAN style="text-decoration: underline;"&gt;Topping - Select One or More&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/STRONG&gt;3/4 cup crushed potato chips&lt;BR /&gt; 3/4 cup fresh bread crumbs mixed with 1/4 cup of melted butter&lt;BR /&gt; 3/4 cup french fried onion rings&lt;BR /&gt; 3/4 cup crushed cornflakes&lt;BR /&gt; 3/4 cup grated cheese&lt;BR /&gt; 3/4 cup slightly crushed potato sticks&lt;BR /&gt; 3/4 cup slivered almonds&lt;BR /&gt; 3/4 cup cracker crumbs&lt;BR /&gt; 1 cup herb-seasoned stuffing mix mixed with 1/4 cup of melted butter&lt;/P&gt; &lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt; And that's all there is to it! Just pick and choose the ingredients you want and make up your own recipes for casseroles from the things that you have right in your own pantry.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
