Okay, I wrote it down. 3 oz pkg jello, she used strawberry 2/3 C. sugar 1 tsp vanilla 1/2 C. boiling water plastic guard for splatter. Place jello, sugar, vanilla, in mixer, DO NOT use Plastic, only glass or metal. Make sure it is clean of grease. Turn mixer on high and immediately add boiling water. Let go on high for 5 minutes and you will get the icing she made, looked yummy. Hope this helps...

Is that granulated sugar or confectioners sugar?

Thanks.

I want to try this. I did see Laura make it. Anyone that has tried it--is it overly sweet?; is it the consistency of regular frosting? (I think it calls for granulated sugar.)

That sounds really good to me. In elementary school other kids brought a box for snack and just ate the powder straight. I always wanted to and when I was older and could get my own box I tried it and liked it. The frosting must have much the same flavoring. I need to try it.
