LilBit and yougogirl. I made both of yours, ate some and froze the rest, wonderful. thank you both so much. I will slice a piece daily and put in hubby's lunch for work, works 3 till 11:30 PM Monday through Friday and this will be a great addition to his meal. This is the kind of things he likes, more in the coffee cake line, not overly sweet.

sarapanda, I made your blueberry pie last night. Being all I have and have ever used for my pies are the large 10'' glass Pyrex pie plates/pans so I added another cup of blueberries but otherwise used all the rest of the ingredients as you listed. I baked the crust, let it cool than made the blueberry sauce using 2 cups of blueberries and the rest of the ingredients as you listed and said BUT instead of putting the first, I used 4 cups of blueberries into the cooled pie crust I very gently folded them into the blueberry sauce recipe as you wrote/posted it. It turned out great. I got light whipped cream and topped each piece with it as we ate it. The 3 of us enjoyed this very much, have half left but won't go to waste of course. thank you so much. This is almost like the one my mom and gram made, always preferred pies without a top crust or crumbs, thanks again. I used 6 cups of blueberries total since my Pyrex 10'' deep pie plate/pan is much larger and it worked great. I followed your recipe exactly other than gently folded 4 cups of berries into the 2 cups berry/sauce mixture when cooled a bit than put all into the cooled pie crust so, only added 2 extra cups of blueberries since I know 4 wouldn't be enough in my large pie plate/pan and this amount is/was perfect, again, thanks

thanks to all you ladies and I will get around to making all, have a lot of blueberries and still coming in, is a bumper year for some reason this summer.
