Hello, all! This is my first foray into the kitchen and food forum, as I usually hang out over in beauty. I am looking for some new ideas and thought you would be able to help :-) I like to make a batch of "something" every week and take it for lunch during the week. I bring my lunch 4 days out of the week, and I don't mind eating the same thing on those days, but I do need some new and fairly easy recipes that make nice lunches. (I have a little tiny crockpot that warms my lunch on my desk too!) I'd love your ideas, all - thanks so much in advance :-)

With summer coming I like

Pasta Salad

Tri colored pasta--cooked

Turkey pastrami--cut into small chunks

Provolone cheese--cut into small chunks

Grape or cherry tomatoes--cut in half

Cucumbers--cut into small chunks

Italian dressing

Mix it all together. You can add any other vegetable you want or change the meat or cheese.

Wow, GMTA. I do a tweaked version of "Antipasto Pasta Salad" from allrecipes dot com. Similar to Rarity's recipe.

A pasta, vegetable, meat, cheese salad that only gets better after several days and is very satisfying.
