      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="georgia,palatino" size="4" color="#800080"&gt;&lt;EM&gt;&lt;a href="https://community.qvc.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/280355"&gt;@timeless&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;- our meals are usually basic, easy and quick to make, with nutrition being our focus while keeping the carbs very low. &amp;nbsp;I will use fresh and frozen berries or green vegetables, and I make fresh tossed salads, but the starchy carbs like rice, beans, potatoes, grains, and pasta stay at the store. &amp;nbsp;No canned soups or boxed side dishes here either. &amp;nbsp;The only exception might be a couple from Proper Good or Kettle &amp;amp; Fire - no Campbell or Progresso. &amp;nbsp;We have many options so we don't get bored.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="georgia,palatino" size="4" color="#800080"&gt;&lt;EM&gt;Any protein we like - thin cut ribeye, boneless pork loin chops, chicken breast, salmon, ribs, grassfed burgers, eggs, bacon, grassfed polish sausage, ground beef, baked ham. &amp;nbsp;Most often it's seasoned and cooked as a single item, but I also make pulled pork, mississippi roast, low carb/KF lasagna, tacos, fajitas, enchiladas, ham &amp;amp; broccoli casserole, chicken bacon broccoli ranch casserole, chicken florentine, Tuscan chicken, egg roll in a bowl (haven't made that in awhile), pot roast, cheeseburgers, meatloaf, bacon &amp;amp; eggs, soup, etc.&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="georgia,palatino" size="4" color="#800080"&gt;&lt;EM&gt;Add a colorful tossed salad or green veg (asparagus, broccoli, brussels sprouts, green beans, cauliflower, cabbage) and dinner is ready.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="georgia,palatino" size="4" color="#800080"&gt;&lt;EM&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Cook a box of pasta according to the package directions. Drain, return to the pot and set aside.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2. Dice about 5 strips of bacon and sauté in a frying pan until almost crisp.&lt;BR /&gt;3. Chop a medium onion and add to the bacon, cooking until the bacon's crisp and the onion's clear.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;4. Stir the bacon and onion into the pasta.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;5. Add a 15 ounce can of diced tomatoes.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;6. Add about 1 to 1.5 cups of shredded cheddar cheese. Stir well to combine all ingredients.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;7. Turn into a baking dish (smaller than 9x13) and sprinkle with about 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;8. Bake in a 375 degree oven until the cheese on top has melted and is golden brown, about 25 minutes.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;This seems like a lot of prep, but the actual prep (chopping bacon and onions) only takes about 5 minutes or so. I use a bag of Kraft shredded cheddar cheese, so that doesn't take any time at all. This recipe feeds our family of 3 with a little left over for lunch the next day. Here's my problem, I don't like and I can't eat salad. I really wish I could, but it's just not something I can get down. I agree about the carbs, processed food, and excessive salt out of our diet.
