I haven't found any gravy in a jar or mix that tastes decent. I usually make my own with the pan drippings. Have cooked my turkey/parts in a crock pot without any liquid--theres lots of natural juice from the bird while it cooks--that will do for drippings--you need that flavor for a good gravy. then it's just a roue and turkey broth and a few seasonings.

I use Campbell's in the can or Heinz (in the jar) gravies during the week in order to not slave over the stove. One thing you need to do is water them both down a bit as they come out of the container very thick. I just add about a half of can or jar of water, stir to get the lumps out, and heat in the microwave for 2 or 3 minutes.

McCormick has great powdered gravies in a pouch as well but requires a little more effort. Standing over the stove whisking and whisking and whisking.

I saw packaged turkey gravy in the refrigerator section at Costco yesterday. IMO nothing can compare to real homemade turkey gravy made from pan drippings. I expect to have a lot of it this year since I'm making two birds.

I use Heinz Roasted Turkey Gravy in the jar...it's just DH & me. If I'm not doing giblets, I like to shred a little of the turkey meat and add that to it, along with chopped hard-boiled eggs (one or two is plenty for the jar size). I also add a tabllespoon of the turkey drippings.

Today I am making a post roast on the stove, and use:

Campbell's Cream of Mushroom Roasted Garlic soup

Lipton's Beefy Onion Dry Soup Mix

Chopped Potatoes

Sliced Peppers

Green Beans

Pearl Onions

Carrots

And I freeze the leftover gravy in containers.

I know, it's not turkey gravy, but I use it as general gravy for all types of dishes, it's just the tastiest, as far as gravies go!
