I cook this pork loin a few times a month. I season it with Kinders blend (salt, pepper, garlic), and follow the directions on the package. It does not take that long to cook in the oven (if you are using yours in the summer!). I serve it with roasted potatoes that I cook at the same time in a separate baking dish, and cooked sauerkraut. If there are leftovers, we have pork sandwiches the next day with or without BBQ sauce.

Very simple meal.

I love barbecued pork and this stuff gives it a wonderful flavor and is so easy to do in a crock pot. Smells heavenly too. Cut in slices or shred for sandwiches.

I cook my pork in the same roaster pan with the sauerkraut. It's good in a crock pot.

i just salt and pepper it and drop it in all together. The pork gets infused with flavor from the sauerkraut. it really doesn't need any other flavor.

I just made it last Saturday for dinner.

We like Peach Pork Loin. We don't eat sauerkraut so not sure if peach goes with that or not. I really don't think it has a peach taste. I have made it in the oven but DH usually makes it on the grill.

Peach Pork Loin Roast

1 C peach preserves

2 T honey

Juice of 1 small lemon

1 boneless pork loin roast, about 3 lbs.

Salt and pepper, to taste

In a medium saucepan, combine the peach preserves, honey & lemon. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer for 2 minutes. Set aside.

Heat oven to 350°.

Line a 13 x 9 x 2 baking pan with foil.

Sprinkle the pork roast with salt and pepper.

Place the roast, fat side up, in the prepared pan.

Roast for 1 hour.

Brush the roast all over with the peach glaze mixture. Continue roasting for about 30 to 40 minutes, brushing with glaze frequently.

A meat thermometer should read 160° when inserted in the center of the roast.

Serves 6 to 8.

This one was made on the grill.

homedecor1
I’d season it with whatever spices / seasonings you have that you like for pork and cook about 4 hours in the crockpot or oven , until tender , you could even wrap the roast in foil in the crockpot to hold in moisture
Or you could cut into medallions and cook like small pork
chops seasoning as you like , maybe with a gravy

Btw those bbq recipes sound really good
One other thing Since it’s a very small pork roast it’ll cook fast unlike the one pictured above if you roast it without cover you’ll need to pay close attention to keep it from being like leather
I got it from Amazon. Oh Lordy!! Is it delicious. I made it with country ribs, that's what we call them here. First covered in the oven without the sauce and then 20 mins-ish with the sauce uncovered. I imagine crockpot style works too. That's my next trick to make it. lol

Hubs and I love Dr. Pepper. It was so cool that I found this sauce. Try it if you can.

As much as I love sauerkraut if I were adding sliced or diced apples I would use red cabbage.

I also like to marinade in teriyaki sauce and cook with pineapple.
