Per repeat request, this weekend I'm going to make the Olive Garden Chicken Crockpot recipe I posted a short while ago And spaghetti + garlic bread, tossed salad. We'll be watching football and doing home chores

I've added this Lemon Chicken crockpot recipe to my files for a future meal. What sides would you serve with it? Roasted potatoes? Mashed potatoes? Rice? Asparagus or green beans?

I also think it needs more lemon than the recipe-- I want it to be super lemony

For the bouillon, I prefer to use Better Than Bouillon. Thrilled that Costco sells the big jar at a great price

Slow-Cooked Lemon Chicken
TOTAL TIME: Prep: 20 min.

Combine the oregano, seasoned salt and pepper; rub over chicken. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the chicken in butter; transfer to a 5-qt. slow cooker. Pour over chicken.

2. Cover and cook on low for 5-6 hours. Baste chicken with cooking juices. Add parsley. (If desired, cooking juices may be thickened before serving.)

Making this lemon crock pot chicken recipe this weekend (+ extra lemon) with the Ina Lemon Capellini pasta, steamed/sautéed green beans & garlic bread

Will post my review regarding the tweaks we discussed for the chicken recipe
