      <description>&lt;P&gt;I like to eat a small salad with my dinner each day. &amp;nbsp;I usually just have the basic things --- bell peppers, carrots, tomatoes (if they are in season), cucumbers, some type of greenery. &amp;nbsp;I am bored!!!!!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;What other things could I add which are easy and healthy - low in calories and cholesterol, etc.???&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I know hardboiled eggs are good in salad but I try not to eat many eggs - cholesterol -plus the price of eggs right now is awful!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Suggestions???&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;Many of the little grape and cherry tomatoes and mini bell peppers are great. &amp;nbsp;Sunflower and pumpkin seeds are good. &amp;nbsp;My favorite greens are spinach and arugula. Try different salad mixes!&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="4"&gt;Apples are good diced, orange slices are good too. &amp;nbsp;Dried cranberries, blueberries and cherries, feta cheese, taco salad made with ground taco seasoned turkey are good for a complete meal. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;I use the organic mixed salad greens (all kinds of greens, including baby spinach), cucumber (when in season), red onion, organic tomatoes (or in the summer from my garden), and I always add some chick peas and some kidney beans.&amp;nbsp; A little olive oil and balsamic vinegar mixed in with a little dill - Delicious!&amp;nbsp; If I want it as my main meal then I add some cooked chicken breast to it.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Add grilled chicken for the protein. Or some other protein. For convenience, I usually get Bell &amp;amp; Evans chicken tenders.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;A good dressing!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;For me, a green leaf lettuce screams for Seasons Taproom basil EVOO &amp;amp; a fruit balsamic vinegar.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Iceburg - blue cheese dressing&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;And yes, a hard boiled egg - Thousand Island - with chick peas &amp;amp; cheese&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Add some interest with spices &amp;amp; herbs, the superfoods.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Thank you for many great options! &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Some things I hadn't even thought of, so I am excited to try out! &amp;nbsp;I already eat a lot of fruit. &amp;nbsp;I like to eat a regular meal and I try to add a small salad to the meal to balance it out. &amp;nbsp;I rarely eat a salad for my meal unless I got out to eat which is rare. &amp;nbsp;I do like a good chicken salad though! &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks, everyone!&lt;/P&gt;</description>
