      <description>&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;I have some recipes from previous posters that I thought some of you who were not on the boards in the early days might enjoy. &amp;nbsp;I will start with the CANNOLI CAKE submitted by Doxiedog and add a few more as I go through them later.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;If anyone has any to add to this thread, it would be great.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;And a special thanks to all of you who have been so generous in typing and sharing your recipes.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;CANNOLI CAKE by Doxiedog&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;3 cups ricotta cheese&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;3/4 cup sugar&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;1 tsp vanilla&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;4 eggs&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;1 yellow cake mix with pudding in the mix&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;(plus ingredients to make the cake)&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;Mix cake as directed and pour into 9 x 13 pan.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;Beat other 4 ingredients. &amp;nbsp;Spoon over batter.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;Bake at 350 degrees for one hour.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;Dust cooled cake with powdered sugar.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;HONEY ORANGE CHICKEN FOR THE CROCKPOT&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;((Elmerita Fudd)&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;8 frozen chicken thighs&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;1/2 cup honey&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;1 cup orange juice&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;2 cups chicken broth (homemade, carton or can) *&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;1/2 tsp salt&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;1 T dry mustard&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;1 tsp fresh ginger root, minced (1 to 2)&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;1 tsp fresh garlic, minced&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;2 tsp soy sauce&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;1 10-oz frozen broccoli florets, thawed (optional)&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;2 T cornstarch -- &lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; mixed with 1/4 cup water to form a cornstarch flurry&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;Cooked rice&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;2 T orange marmalade --&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; with the rind and/or add orange zest&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;*one can works well if you don't have homemade&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;Put frozen chicken in crockpot right out of freezer.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Whisk all other ingredients together - except rice, broccoli if using, cornstarch and water - and pour over the chicken. &amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Turn the crockpot on low and cook 4-5 hours. &amp;nbsp;If desired, top with one 10-oz package broccoli flowerets one hour before chicken is finished.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Before &amp;nbsp;serving, remove the chicken and broccoli and stir in cornstarch mixture. &amp;nbsp;Turn crockpot on high until broth bubbles and thickens. &amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Turn crockpot off. &amp;nbsp;Serve over rice or pasta.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Elmerita's Notes:&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;To this recipe, I have added the orange marmalade and orange zest for a bit more orange flavor. &amp;nbsp;Also, IF I have a can of pineapple chunks open, I add with some of the juice. &amp;nbsp;Recipe easy to adapt to your taste. &amp;nbsp;Add snow peas, water chestnuts, even cashews.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;MELT IN YOUR MOUTH COOKIES (Kittymom)&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;1 cup unsifted flour&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;1/2 cup cornstarch&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;1/2 cup powdered sugar&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;3/4 cup margarine&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;1 tsp vanilla&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;Sift together flour, cornstarch and sugar.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;In large bowl with mixer at medium speed, beat margarine until smooth.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;Add flour mixture and vanilla. &amp;nbsp;Beat until well blended. &amp;nbsp;Refrigerate one hour.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;Shape into 1" balls. &amp;nbsp;Place about 1-1/2 inches apart on baking sheet. &amp;nbsp;Then slightly flatten.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;Bake 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes. &amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;Cool and frost with mixture of cream cheese and powdered sugar. &amp;nbsp;Makes 2-1/2 dozen.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;[Some posters said these were good without the frosting.]&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
