Hi Hi RS Friends!!!!!!

I know this is so off topic for this area, but you Gals are some of the most savviest around these parts and I am hoping you will forgive me posting this here and help me out! xo xo

Do you know those sizing stickers manufacturers put on garments like jeans and tees? I bought a pair of jeans, left them for awhile because I didn't have time to hem them. I just removed that sticker and it left a residue and a stain!!! (sobbing)

Does anyone here know how I get that residue off and remove that stain??? It is on my backside and it is very noticeable.

Thanks so very much!!!! I hope I don't have to relegate these to wearing only at home or washing the car and going out and getting a new pair. (weep)

Sabatini2.....will try. I think the adhesive has permeated the fabric and I fear the ""stain"" will never come out. Worth a shot to try! Thank you Thank you!

you may want to take it to the dry cleaners and ask them for assistance.....i bet they know every trick for these types of problems.

If it is glue of some sort, I would try Goo Gone. After that I'd use Dawn liquid detergent to remove any oil left by the Goo Gone. Good luck with this! I hate tough stains.

I had the same thing happen to a new pair of jeans for my husband. I dabbed on white vinegar with a sponge, let it sit for about 10-15 minutes then put a stain remover over the area and machine washed. Don't put them in the dryer until you are sure the stain is out.

Club soda? People use it for removing all sorts of stuff on fabric. Also, wonder if you might try a hot iron over a paper towel on the spot. The heat may draw the glue on to the paper towel.

Go to a craft/fabric store and find a cute embroidered flower/whatever (can't think of what they are called) and sew/fabric glue it on that spot (if you can't remove the stain).

They are called 'embroidered appliques'.............cute ones online, too. Find one that blends in with the fabric.
