    <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;&lt;EM&gt;1-1/2 cups flour&lt;BR /&gt;2 T sugar&lt;BR /&gt;1 T baking powder&lt;BR /&gt;1 t salt&lt;BR /&gt;1/2 cup salted butter (cut in small pieces)&lt;BR /&gt;2 large eggs + 1 egg for egg wash&lt;BR /&gt;2/3 cup buttermilk&lt;BR /&gt;2/3 cup grated sharp cheddar&amp;nbsp;cheese&lt;BR /&gt;1/4 cup chopped chives&lt;BR /&gt;Additional grated cheddar to top scones&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;&lt;EM&gt;375 degree oven&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;&lt;EM&gt;Put flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and butter into food processor and pulse until crumbly.&amp;nbsp; Put in large bowl.&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;&lt;EM&gt;Whisk 2 eggs and buttermilk.&amp;nbsp; Add to flour mixture.&amp;nbsp; Stir till just moist.&amp;nbsp; Stir in the cheddar and chives.&amp;nbsp; Mix lightly.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;&lt;EM&gt;Turn dough out on well floured board and knead lightly.&amp;nbsp; Cut dough in half.&amp;nbsp; Pat each half into a circle about 3/4 inch thick.&amp;nbsp; Cut each circle into 4 wedges.&amp;nbsp; Place on parchment paper lined baking sheet.&amp;nbsp; Whisk additional egg and brush on top of the scones.&amp;nbsp; Let rest for 10 minutes.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;&lt;EM&gt;Sprinkle each scone with an additional tablespoon of grated cheese.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;&lt;EM&gt;Bake for about 20 minutes.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;&lt;EM&gt;I am planning to use these to accompany a bowl of soup.&amp;nbsp; I could definitely see using other cheeses for a variety.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://community.qvc.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/68280"&gt;@RespectLife&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;&lt;EM&gt;That is why I tried this recipe - that pesky leftover buttermilk.&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size="3"&gt;&lt;EM&gt;I heated one of the scones up at 300 for 9-10 minutes for breakfast this morning.&amp;nbsp; Tasted great.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
