      <description>&lt;P&gt;I don't personally cook rice but my husband does.&amp;nbsp; He soaks his rice about 45 minutes before cooking.&amp;nbsp; He thinks it cooks better and tastes better.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Sometimes I do, sometimes not. &amp;nbsp;I have a rice rinser bowl like the one above which is great, sometimes I just use the "claw" method and give it three quick rinses in the rice cooker bowl (for the trinity). &amp;nbsp; If I'm in a hurry I don't and can't tell that much difference.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;We almost always use Jasmine or Basmati rice--brown and white--now. &amp;nbsp;I think they are for most things better rice than regular long grain. &amp;nbsp;We use a LOT of rice.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
