    <description>&lt;P&gt;My favorite recipe for molasses cookies comes from my SIL:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;4 cups flour&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2 tsp baking soda&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1 tsp salt&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2 tsp cinnamon&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1 tsp ground cloves&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1 tsp ground ginger&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1 1/2 cups softened butter&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1 1/2 cups sugar&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2 eggs&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1/2 cup molasses&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Whisk flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, cloves, and ginger in bowl.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;In separate big bowl beat butter and sugar with electric mixer until light and creamy.&amp;nbsp; Mix in molasses and eggs.&amp;nbsp; Mix in flour mixture.&amp;nbsp; Refrigerate dough for 1/2 hour.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Roll dough into 1" balls then roll in dish of sugar to coat.&amp;nbsp; Space balls 1" apart on parchment-lined baking sheet.&amp;nbsp; Bake in 375 degree oven for 8-10 minutes.&amp;nbsp; Place cookies on cooling rack until completely cooled.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I make a double batch and freeze them to give to good boys and girls.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
