&amp;nbsp;&lt;a href="https://community.qvc.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/68280"&gt;@RespectLife&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="georgia,palatino" size="3"&gt;As promised, here are a couple of the recipes I use all the time in my Vitamix when I want something satisfying fast. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="georgia,palatino" size="3"&gt;I always bake extra potatoes in the oven and freeze them. &amp;nbsp;I then microwave them (pierced with a fork, of course) to use in these soups. &amp;nbsp;Hope this gets you kickstarted.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="georgia,palatino" size="3"&gt;&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; Potato and Spinach Soup &amp;nbsp;3 &amp;amp; 1/4 cups yield&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="georgia,palatino" size="3"&gt;2 cups vegetable or chicken broth&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="georgia,palatino" size="3"&gt;2 baked Russet potatoes, cut in half&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="georgia,palatino" size="3"&gt;1/4 cup chopped onion&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="georgia,palatino" size="3"&gt;1/2 Tsp dried Rosemary&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="georgia,palatino" size="3"&gt;3 Tbsp frozen spinach&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="georgia,palatino" size="3"&gt;1/2 to 1 Tsp salt--optional (I omit it entirely.)&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="georgia,palatino" size="3"&gt;Put all ingredients in the Vitamix container in the order listed above.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="georgia,palatino" size="3"&gt;Select Variable 1 speed.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="georgia,palatino" size="3"&gt;Switch machine to start and gradually increase speed to Variable 10.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="georgia,palatino" size="3"&gt;Blend for 6 minutes or until heavy steam escapes from the vented lid.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="georgia,palatino" size="3"&gt;Reduce speed to level 1 and blend for an additional 30 seconds.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="georgia,palatino" size="3"&gt;&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; Cream of Celery Soup &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;4 cups yield&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="georgia,palatino" size="3"&gt;2 Tbsp olive oil&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="georgia,palatino" size="3"&gt;2 or 3 peeled cloves of garlic&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="georgia,palatino" size="3"&gt;1/4 cup chopped onion&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="georgia,palatino" size="3"&gt;2 cups chopped celery&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="georgia,palatino" size="3"&gt;1/3 cup chopped parsnips&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="georgia,palatino" size="3"&gt;1/2 small baked Russet potato&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="georgia,palatino" size="3"&gt;1 &amp;amp;3/4 cups chicken broth&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="georgia,palatino" size="3"&gt;1/4 Tsp salt (I omit.)&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="georgia,palatino" size="3"&gt;pinch of black pepper (I use white pepper instead.)&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="georgia,palatino" size="3"&gt;1/4 cup heavy cream (Reserve to use at the end of the recipe.)&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="georgia,palatino" size="3"&gt;1. &amp;nbsp;In a small pan heat the olive oil and saute celery, parsnips, onion and garlic until the onion is tender.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="georgia,palatino" size="3"&gt;2. &amp;nbsp;Place sauteed ingredients, potato, chicken broth, salt and pepper into the Vitamix container and secure lid.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="georgia,palatino" size="3"&gt;3. &amp;nbsp;Switch machine to start and gradually increase speed to variable 10.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="georgia,palatino" size="3"&gt;4. &amp;nbsp;Blend for 5 minutes or until heavy steam escapes from the vented lid.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="georgia,palatino" size="3"&gt;5. &amp;nbsp;Reduce speed to variable 2 and remove the lid plug.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="georgia,palatino" size="3"&gt;6. &amp;nbsp;Add heavy cream through the lid plug opening.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face="georgia,palatino" size="3"&gt;7. &amp;nbsp;Blend for an additional 10 seconds.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
