I have never had raspberry ice cream nor have I ever seen it in stores. So I went on line to search for a recipe and found one. Now that I have my Vitamix, I just had to try it and it was the first thing I made. Don't remember on whose website I found it, but here it is. It's sooooooooooo yummy.

1 cup milk (I like to use almond milk)

3/4 cup sugar or other sweetener (I used less than 1/3 cup)

1/2 teaspoon vanilla

1 pound frozen raspberries

Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure the lid.

Select Variable 1, turn machine on and slowly increase speed to Variable 10, then to HIGH.

Use the tamper to press the ingredients into the blades

In about 30 - 60 seconds the sound of the motor will change and four mounds should form.

Stop machine. Do not overmix or melting will occur. Serve immediately.

A friend was here and I made it for lunch. It was so easy and good. Put some in the freezer to bring to someone.

I am so glad I have that new toy.
