My DH prefers to have an olive oil dip with crusty bread when I serve spaghetti. I found this recipe when thumbing through a magazine. It makes three half-cup batches & stores up to six months.

1 T dried minced garlic

1T crushed dried rosemary

1T. dried oregano

2 tsp. dried basil

1 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes

1/2 tsp. salt and course ground pepper

To activate, mix 4 tsp. Of mix with a Tablespoon of water and heat 15 seconds in microwave. Drain any leftover water and combine the herbs with 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil. Serve with torn French baguettes.
