I need the Community's help to find a recipe for Pasta Salad I believe was on here yesterday. In the post was a picture of the outdoor patio dining area of where this pasta salad was made. The poster made a not that she would add green pepper next time it was made. When I saw the post, I emailed it to myself, but it never came into my mailbox. I've never had success emailing recipes to myself from this board. I've looked through a few pages of the Recipes, Kitchen, and Community Forums but cannot find it. I'd love to make this pasta salad. Whenever I make it, the pasta just dries up no matter how much mayo I use.

I saw someone posted a Pasta Salad recipe today, but that isn't the one.

If anyone can help, I'd really appreciate it.

@ECBG Long story short -- yes it was your recipe from Chelsea's. Reason I originally said it wasn't yours was in post 2, @Zhills mentioned the recipe was posted by BCBG. Believe that was a typo. Anyway, thanks for the recipe. I do plan to make it as soon as I can get to the store for the Ranch mix.

@ECBG Made the pasta salad yesterday and it was delish. Do you think Ranch Dressing (bottled or made accordingly to the package) could be used instead making the dressing from scratch. I know that wouldn't be as directed, but more a convenience. What do you think?

I would think the bottled or package you mix together would work fine. I used to date a guy who had a couple of kids and they insisted that they didn't like the bottled ranch and wanted it made from the packet. It would always have to be thrown out because the guy I dated didn't eat that many salads at home and it would have to be made every time they were doing anything that included ranch dressing. I finally emptied a bottle into the container I made it in and they never knew it was the bottled stuff. Made me laugh every time they ate it.

Definitely smart move. We got along really well for a few years, and then all of a sudden, he decided to be super nice to his ex wife and told me it was because he wanted her to tell him she made a mistake so he could tell her too bad. Guess he thought I'd hang around until that happened.
